A Community Development District (“CDD” or “District”) is a local unit of special-purpose government, created pursuant to Chapter 190, Florida Statutes, and established by Ordinance 07-14: PDF | RTF, adopted of the Board of County Commissioners of Hillsborough County, Florida which became effective on May 11th, 2007., and is limited to the performance of those specialized functions authorized therein. Once the infrastructure is built, the CDD is then required to maintain these public facilities. Services for this CDD include maintenance of the common area landscaping, public parks, ponds and fountains.
